With the widespread use of heat center installation in buildings, the demand for domestic water to be supplied from these centers has increased. In order to meet this demand boilers that perform hot water production in a simple economical and effective way as well as store it have begun to be produced. In time, it has been made very efficient and healthy by taking advantage of the blessings of advanced technology.

What are the usage areas of the boiler?

Boilers are generally used as central hot water preparation systems for more economic benefit instead of individual hot water production in areas where people live collectively. It is appropriately used in places where the need for collective how water is high such as factories ,barracks,hotels,dormitories,apartments,hospitals,construction sites and the number of people who open the tap in the mirror increases.

How is the boiler used with installation equipment ?

In boilers hot water supplied from boiler or cascade systems is generally used as the heating fluid.A closed circuit is created by means of a pump and circulation is provided.There are thermostat inputs on the boiler for temperature control.According to the values measured from there inputs the flow is interrupted by the pump control.Maximum efficiency heating is provided by adjusting the inlet temperature and pump speed according to the targeted heating time.

Why is enamel important in boilers ?

Titanium enamel is coated inside the boilers making it more hygienic. The main structure consisting of enamel boron and silicon used in boilers should not contain heavy metals. It should be produced without disturbing the Rohs values and the European standartd.

Why use a magnesium anode rod ?

Enameled and galvanized boilers should be protected against corrosion with a magnesium anode rod. Magnesium anode dissolves with the help of electrolysis occurring in the tank, adheres to the points where the enamel coating is needed and extends the life of the warehouse.Storage life should be maximized by using magnesium anode rod in chemical components in accordance with European standards in boilers.

How should the resistance test be done in the boiler ?

Are called boiler water heaters and water collectors. It is very important to test the corrosion processes of surfaces in contact with water. 10% citric acid solution is used in boiler tests applied according to European standards. The citric acid solution is applied to the enamel surface for 15 minutes, and the acid resistance is determined according to the deformation it causes on the enamel.

The citric acid test is carried out according to ISO 2722 standards. In the boiler enamel tests, it keeps the citric acid solution for a long time,such as 20 minutes and the rsult is in the highest level class,which is AA.

How should the sheet quality of the boiler be ?

The boiler is resistant to aging, stands out with its good weldability and has deep drawing properties. The test pieces is subjected to the boiling water and water vapor test for 48 hours.At the end of this process,the enamel on the test pieces decreases slightly. According to European standards, this amount is 3,5gr/m2.

How to choose a boiler ?

The hot water requirement of the building is calculated with the average usage values determined by the Chamber of Mechanical Engineers.Here are a few important details to pay attention to.The calculated total hourly requirement value is calculated assuming that all fixtures are on for 1 hour.This probability is very low.Hourly need is determined as an average by multiplying it with a coefficient called the co-use factor and determined for different usage areas .However this calculated value is not directly the capacity of the boiler in liters.Boilers can provide hot water in 1 hour,well above the storage capacity.Therefore hourly production values should be taken into account in order to reduce both savings and initial investment cost.

Boilers keep the hot water inside for a very long time when not in use.While the high-tech insulation materials used provide high efficiency,they also protect the boiler from external effects.

The coils in the boilers should be designed in such a way that they do not form cold zone.Fast boilers prevent the formation of cold regions with their special serpentine designs and do not allow bacteria that cause Legionnaier’s disease to live.Bacterial growth and corrosion are prevented by the titanium enamel coating.
